When downloading a file from your Media Library, you will have the option to download a Transcoded File or Original File.

When a file is uploaded to Acceptd, we transcode it to a standard format for consistent quality and playback on the Acceptd website. As of May 2025, we are making those transcoded versions available for download. Users can choose to download a copy of the original file (which may be a higher quality) or the transcoded version (which may be smaller and/or more compatible).

To note: Older files that have been archived in Acceptd's databases were previously not available for download. Now, the transcoded versions will continue to be instantly available, while the originals can be requested and will be delivered with a delay.
