There are several different types of rating scales you can choose from to adjudicate your submissions. This list will help you find what is right for you and your organization!
--
Enumeration
The enumeration type allows reviewers to rate the application with words. For example, reviewers could select “good,” “excellent,” or “superior” and each word would be calculated as a different numerical score. The adjudication will display as a number in the table.
Textual Enumeration
Similar to enumeration, this provides reviewers with a dropdown of options. If you would prefer to see the text when exporting the adjudication, use the textual enumeration type instead.
Yes/No
This option allows reviewers to choose Yes or No. For example, "Would you recommend this applicant for a scholarship?"
*When viewing Yes/No rating scales in the Submitted Ratings table, the results will appear as binary digits, 0 or 1. If you'd prefer to see the answer of Yes or No, we recommend using Textual Enumeration.
Slider
Our most popular rating scale, the sliding type, gives you a sliding scale for whatever range you create. For example, Musicality may be on a scale of 1-10 or 1-100, it’s up to you. For the total average of all scores, we recommend keeping all of your sliders on the same scale, unless you want one slider to hold more weight than another. Note: Sliders are only available in whole numbers (no decimals) and you can choose to allow a note to be added to the scale.
Only Notes
In addition to the general Comments section (here), you can add a Notes box to the ratings to ask for comments on a specific area.
