The recovery code provided in your account is the only way to log in to Acceptd if you get locked out of your account due to not having your authentication device. We recommend saving your personal recovery code in a safe place when you log into Acceptd using MFA for the first time.
---
The MFA recovery code is a backup method to regain access to your account if you forget your password or do not have access to your authentication device. If you get locked out of your Acceptd account, the recovery code provided in Acceptd allows you to bypass the log-in screen once so you can reset your MFA method.
How do I find my Recovery Code?
1. Hover over your profile picture in the top right corner and click on My Security.
2. Click on Show Recovery Code.
Where/when do I use my Recovery Code?
If you forget your password or do not have your device for MFA, you can use your recovery code to log in. Your recovery code will be available to use after your first login using MFA.
1. Click Try with Recovery Code.
2. Input your saved recovery code. Click Verify.
Note: Once a recovery code is used, Acceptd will automatically regenerate a new one in your Acceptd account. Be sure to save your new code in a safe place.
