After providing your username and password on the login screen, you'll be prompted to verify your login with a unique code sent to you using a method of your choice. You may choose to have your code sent to you in one of the following ways:
Please note that if you choose any verification method other than the Authenticator App, you'll also be required to enroll in the 90-day password rotation policy. If you use the Authenticator App, the 90-day password rotation policy is not required.
1. Authenticator App
After selecting Authenticator App as your authentication method from the dropdown menu, open your preferred authenticator app on your phone (such as Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Duo, or Authy) and scan the displayed QR code for your verification code. If you have an iPhone, you can scan the QR code on your camera and use the Passwords app for verification.
2. Text Message (SMS)
After selecting Text Message (SMS) as your authentication method from the dropdown menu, enter your phone number into the required field and click the Send SMS button. You will then be texted a code.
3. Phone Call
After selecting Phone as your authentication method from the dropdown menu, enter your phone number into the required field and click the Call Me button. You will receive a phone call and the verification code will be read to you.
4. Email
After selecting Email as your authentication method from the dropdown menu, the email address associated with your Acceptd account will populate in the Email Address field. Click the Send Email button. Your verification code will be sent to your inbox.
Notes:
- Your selected authentication method will be remembered for future log-ins. To change your authentication method, please visit our guide How do I change my authentication (MFA) preference method?
- If you choose any verification method other than the Authenticator App, you'll also be required to enroll in the 90-day password rotation policy. If you use the Authenticator App, the 90-day password rotation policy is not required.
