Rating Scales allow for adjudication to happen right alongside the applicant's application! This guide will show you how to create and assign rating scales and criteria for adjudication across all of your programs. Both steps must be completed for a rating scale to be set up correctly.

How to create a Rating Scale
1. Navigate to Programs and select Rating Scales from the dropdown menu
2. Click the Add + button
3. Select the type of rating scale, fill in the required fields, and click Create Rating Scale

How to assign a Rating Scale to an individual program
**Once a rating scale is created, it must be assigned to the program(s) where you would like it to be used for adjudication.
1. Navigate to Programs and select Programs from the dropdown menu
2. Click on the program that you would like to assign the rating scale
3. Select Adjudication and Ratings from the tabs along the top of the program editor that opens
4. Click the + next to any rating scale that you would like to add to the program. This will move the rating scale from the Available Scales side to the Rating Scales side. The Rating Scales side represents all active rating scales.
5. Click Submit & Finish to save your changes
How to assign a Rating Scale to multiple programs
**Once a rating scale is created, it must be assigned to the program(s) where you would like it to be used for adjudication.
1. Navigate to Programs and select Programs from the dropdown menu
2. Select the checkbox next to the programs that you would like to assign the rating scale
3. Navigate to Group Actions at the bottom left of your screen and select Edit Programs from the menu
4. Select Adjudication and Ratings from the tabs along the top of the program editor that opens
5. Click the + next to any rating scale that you would like to add to all the selected programs. This will move the rating scale from the Available Scales side to the Rating Scales side. The Rating Scales side represents all active rating scales. The number in parentheses next to the rating scale indicates how many programs the rating scale is assigned to.
6. Click Submit & Finish to save your changes
