How do I temporarily mute or unmute replies to a conversation in Messaging?

If you want to temporarily pause notifications for replies on a message thread, you can Mute a conversation!

Both applicants and your organization's Users can temporarily Mute replies to a message thread. This will keep the conversation available in the left-hand margin, but notifications will be paused if responses are added.

 

After navigating to the Message chat bubble in the top-right corner of your screen:

 

Mute a conversation

1. Select the thread from the left-hand margin. 

2. Click the three dots above the message to open its settings.

3. Select Mute Replies.

 

 

Once completed, the top of that thread will display how "Replies to this conversation are muted."

 

Unmute a conversation

Follow the same steps listed above, but instead select Unmute Replies.
